The Big TIme

Hello lovelies! 

Amazing news, the wonderful Kerry Cohen is going to be on Good Morning America, and she let us dress her!

She'll be wearing pieces by Allison Wonderland, Lanston, and Laura Lombardi!

Kerry is an author, teacher and psychotherapist. 
Her book, Loose Girl: a memoir of promiscuity, is her "captivating memoir about her descent into promiscuity and how she gradually found her way toward real intimacy."
Her follow up, Dirty Little Secrets: Breaking the Silence on Teenage Girls and Promiscuity came out on September 1st, and explores the subject in broader detail, creating "a riveting look at today’s adolescent girls who use sex as a means to prove their worth."

Every woman knows this subject, weather we were 'that girl', or only watched 'those girls' ignore their own self worth.
Societies reluctance to even acknowledge this issue is sad and destructive, and Kerry's books are so important because of this!
As the mother of a little girl, and a woman who has been a teenage girl, I'm both scared and excited to delve into both books.

our lives are amazing

I saw this over on Elroy's blog (she has the MOST amazing stuff posted there, seriously) and was just...
I am just amazed by us all.

Vivian Maier was a nanny who lived in Chicago.  She took pictures for most of her life, from the early 50's through the 90's.

They are amazing moments, heartbreaking and beautiful.

She never showed anyone her work, and when her storage unit fell behind in payments, her negatives were auctioned off.

 Check out her body of work here, as well as her amazing story.
